Success is Marked in Just a Few Words from Those We Serve

Now that the whirlwind of the holidays is coming to an end, we wanted to share just a little bit of the feedback we received from our soldiers who got their holiday care packages and were able to let us know. Of course we never expect to hear back, but it's very gratifying to know that the process works (and very well, for some wrote back within a week of shipping day!)  Happy thoughts to start a Happy New Year! May it be successful and safe for all of our wonderful US soldiers and sailors!

"I'm 1LT ###### Ford and I would like to thank you for sending the Care Packages. I shared the goodies with my Soldiers and they also want to say thank you! Your kind gesture has definitely brightened up or Holiday Season!"

"I received your care package. I'm stationed in Cameroon Africa.  I just wanted to say thank you! I will share it with other troops as well. Merry Xmas!"

"We are a chaplain team with the U.S. Army; currently serving in Iraq.  The purpose of this message is to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the care package you sent to our troops.  We appreciate your time, dedication and genuine desire to bring comfort to the men and women serving in uniform far away from home.  Care packages are especially comforting during the holiday season.  Please know that the contents of your care package have been managed and distributed appropriately among the troops stationed in our camp. ... Once again, thanks so much for your great sense of patriotism and support to our troops that are deployed overseas."

"I’m LT ####  ##### of the US Navy, currently deployed overseas as the Medical Officer for #####.  I am one of the few Navy personnel in command full of Marines. Last week we received a large package from “Hearts In a Box." I wanted to write back to thank you all for the time you took to put together a heartfelt package and for the cards. It provides us with the reminder that there are people back home that appreciate what we are doing. It is also comforting knowing you all empathize with us for not being able to spend the holidays with our families. ....Thank you again for the package and all the wonderful treats, snacks, beauty kits, and decorations. God Bless."

No Lieutenant. God bless you!
